Angela Thompson

French Tutor

My name is Angela Thompson and I have a 2.1 BA Honours degree in French from the University of Nottingham. I also have a PGCE in Modern Languages from Leicester University and have experience of teaching French, German and English as a second language.

I have taught all ages from very young children to adults and to all different levels. I have taught children in both primary and secondary schools and adults in evening classes. I have also worked for Le Club Français teaching children in after school clubs.

However, since 2010 I have been a private self-employed tutor of French teaching mostly children; some of whom are taught in their own home or my home and some are tutored for specific exam preparation and others are learning for fun. Some come to classes held in outside venues such as cafes or soft play centres and some are taught through Skype. Please see the separate details for all the available options for tuition.

I love learning languages and hope to instil my passion for learning them onto my students. I also love children and am a mum to two teenagers myself. I aim to make my classes fun whilst highly educational.
