Beginner German Pre-Recorded Lessons

This first block of 5 beginner German lessons is now available to buy from the £2 Tuition Hub at a cost of £10 for all 5 lessons. You can even try the first lesson for free but you will need to register and create a free account with them. The lessons cover greetings, numbers to 20, colours and animals. They are full of information from teaching you the words to practising the words with a variety of activities including games and songs and with additional supplementary worksheets to practise afterwards. I am aiming to do a second block about family during the summer.

French Tutor

My name is Angela Thompson and I have a 2.1 BA Honours degree in French from the University of Nottingham. I also have a PGCE in Modern Languages from Leicester University and have experience of teaching French, German and English as a second language.

I have taught all ages from very young children to adults and to all different levels. I have taught children in both primary and secondary schools and adults in evening classes. I have also worked for Le Club Français teaching children in after school clubs.

However, since 2010 I have been a private self-employed tutor of French teaching mostly children; some of whom are taught in their own home or my home and some are tutored for specific exam preparation and others are learning for fun. Some come to classes held in outside venues such as cafes or soft play centres and some are taught through Skype. Please see the separate details for all the available options for tuition.

I love learning languages and hope to instil my passion for learning them onto my students. I also love children and am a mum to two teenagers myself. I aim to make my classes fun whilst highly educational.
